Who is responsible
Bjørn Berge Consulting, Oslo and Strasbourg, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. Enquiries about this policy can be sent to post@bergeconsulting.no.

What is collected
Only what you send: your name, email address, organisation and the content of your message. Standard server logs record IP address and request time for security purposes and are rotated regularly.

Why it is collected
To answer your enquiry and, where an engagement follows, to administer it. The legal basis is legitimate interest for enquiries and contract performance for engagements.

Cookies
No tracking or advertising cookies are used. A single local storage entry records your language preference so the site opens in the language you chose.

How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Engagement records are kept for the period required by Norwegian accounting and professional obligations.

Sharing
Personal data is not sold or shared for marketing. Hosting and email providers process data on instruction under agreements that restrict use to service delivery.

Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, and may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. Requests are answered within thirty days.
